Missionaries and volunteer Docents are available daily for tours and information on Utah's number one tourist attraction. There is so much to do you could spend days right here at Temple Square. From the World Famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice and performances, Garden tours, tours of the North and South Visitor Centers, Historic Tabernacle, Assembly Hall, and the grounds of Temple Square to the historic Beehive House, Church History Museum, Church History Library and the magnificent Conference Center and not to miss the Family Search center and Family History Library one the best places on Earth to do your genealogy. Small groups or families need not reserve tours, as Temple Square is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and tours can be hosted as you arrive.     Reservations are not required for groups under 20. If you have questions or would like assistance planning your trip to Temple Square, please contact Guest Services at 801-240-1706. If you would like to make arrangements for a VIP tour for a small group with very specific special interests, please contact us.

  • Large Groups

    Temple Square provides excellent activities for escorted groups, fly/drive, genealogy research, family reunions, and other group and leisure travel. In order to provide the best service to you, we ask that you please make a special reservation for groups of 20 or more people. Most of the facilities are free and can be accessed within a 35-acre radius. Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, these attractions and dining facilities are within easy access of many fine hotels, restaurants, and shopping.

    We offer many unique-to-Utah experiences from visiting the Mormon Tabernacle Choir rehearsals to exploring your ancestral roots to eating in Brigham Young's home.

      We welcome all bus drivers to the "Thirty five Acres of Temple Square"" and thank you for coming! To help make your trip more accommodating we have some information that may help you with your trip. Whether you are just dropping off or will have some time to park and enjoy What Temple Square has to offer, please note some information below:

      • The main drop off for tours of Temple Square, The Conference Center, Garden Tours is located on West Temple, at the west gate of Temple Square.
      • You may also drop off in front of the Lion House on 63 East South Temple for Tours of the Beehive House, Concerts in the Park and lunch at the Lion House.
      • Your Drop off for the Family Search, Legacy theater, The Roof and Garden Restaurants located in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building is in front of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on 15 East South Temple.
      • Temple Square Hospitality will meet and greet any bus that is eating in one of the Temple Square Restaurants free, just go to http://www.diningattemplesquare.com/nta.html to contact Neil Wilkinson for your Group Reservation.
      • We have free bus parking located at 200 west 75 north. Just download our bus code and procedures.
